You are loved

Do you know how much God loves you? I mean, do you really know or do you just kind of agree with that statement because thats what "good Christians" do?

This month has been absolute hell for me. To be honest, its been hard to believe God truly loves me when: my mom is slowly dying of autoimmune diseases, my depression has been so strong I see no reason for my existence, finances are falling apart, some brothers and sisters in the Lord, that i trusted, have judged and condemned me, and the list goes on. Yeah, I've questioned God's love for me and at times even shook my fist at Him in anger! But something im learning slowly with all this chaos is: God DOES love me more than I can ever imagine.

Maybe you feel forgotten? Maybe you feel like God is distant and could care less about your trials and heartache; however, this is a lie from Satan. Psalms 103 says, my paraphrase," God loves us with an everlasting love. "He redeems our life from the pit and crowns us with steadfast love and mercy." (Psalms 103:4) This chapter speaks of our God who loves us beyond our wildest dreams.

Please take a moment and lean into your heavenly father's love today. He loves you so much He sent His only son to die for your sins. (John 3:16) No matter what trial you are going through my brothers and sisters, God loves you and has you in His grip, and guess what? He NEVER let's go.
