Crushed in Spirit

Sometimes our lives endure such hardship, temptations, failures, and weaknesses that we lose steam. Maybe some of you have felt like giving up lately, I know I sure have. I put on my best Sunday smile and shake hands at church giving the "expected" praise God or God is good Christian lingo, but on the inside im dying. People ask how im doing and I quickly respond fine, meanwhile at home im popping anxiety pills because the ptsd is too much, or im self medicating through food, tv, or other dead ends. I have one word to describe this place: crushed in Spirit. The good news is God says to us who are utterly destroyed that He is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit. (Psalms 34:18)
I encourage anyone who can barely even breath out a prayer that God is close to you and will save and mend your broken heart. Trust His promise even when all seems lost. Im preaching to myself when I say this. I love you all. May God's peace rest on you today and forever-Rob

Brother!! I love how genuine this is. I can promise you this, God sees that heart of yours. 1 Samuel 16:7 says
“The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
There isn’t anything else I can say that isn’t more promising than the words in that scripture. It takes faith the size of a mustard seed. That’s it. We’re here to lift you up in the name of JESUS!
